13/12/2019 – Incontro con gli attivisti della provincia di Brescia
Venerdì 13 dicembre ci siamo recati a Desenzano del Garda per un incontro sul tema del trasporto pubblico scolastico organizzato da Paola Pollini. La promotrice dell’iniziativa ci ha invitati a parlare della nostra esperienza e del percorso fatto dal nostro Comitato dalla sua nascita fino ad oggi. L’incontro, aperto al pubblico, si è svolto presso l’oratorio San Zeno. Siamo stati ben lieti di parlare ai genitori intervenuti per dare loro dei suggerimenti allo scopo di migliorare la situazione oggi esistente sul loro territorio e che è del tutto simile a quella presente nella nostra provincia.
Ovviamente, abbiamo parlato del sovraffollamento degli autobus nelle ore di punta, della sicurezza degli spazi utilizzati dagli studenti (stazioni, pensiline, fermate ecc.), della raccolta firme che abbiamo concluso e delle prossime iniziative che vorremmo portare avanti per cercare di dare un contributo alla risoluzione di tutti i disagi che i pendolari devono sopportare ogni giorno.
Siamo stati altresì felici di sapere che nel mese di Novembre è partita una raccolta firme analoga alla nostra con lo scopo di attirare l’attenzione delle autorità competenti sul problema del sovraffollamento e della sicurezza degli studenti. Ci auguriamo solo che la sig.ra Pollini non venga lasciata sola, ma venga sostenuta almeno da tutti i genitori che hanno figli a scuola e che dovrebbero affiancarla in questa battaglia di civiltà per dare un trasporto degno di questo nome a tutti i pendolari, studenti in primis!
Da parte nostra, auspichiamo la nascita di un Comitato analogo al nostro e che possa parlare una voce sola per tutta la provincia di Brescia confrontandosi con le istituzioni preposte per trovare delle soluzioni ai problemi più impellenti.
